If No Sex Is Involved, Is It Still An Affair?
According to research presented at a recent American Psychological Association Conference, a survey of over 200 men and women asked the question: Which is most devastating? If your mate confessed to:
A. A one night stand or brief fling that was purely sexual in nature and involved no love or romance
B. Courting, romancing and falling in love with someone else, no sexual acts of any kind transpired
99% of men responded one way…99% of all women responded with the exact opposite answer
Answer: The majority of men would be more devastated by a purely sexual one-night stand. The majority of women would feel more betrayed by a non-sexual affair of the heart.

Are men more threatened by a physical affair because there's always measuring themselves against other men and see their partner as a possession?
Are women more devastated by an affair of the heart because another woman is receiving everything they crave (romance, time, attention and emotional communication) ?
